If Giorno were to just show up for the final battle I think he should be shown a little bit and teased throughout the part. Like an E plot we cut to every now and then. At first it’s just some random guy either helping people or doing gang stuff, but eventually an actual conflict comes his way. A small one, but we get a very short and unexplained snippet of GER in action. I think by the time the final battle occurs the audience maybe shouldn’t fully know what GER does unless they’ve read part 5, they definitely should know that if and when he arrives Pucchi’s schemes are as good as dust. It becomes a bit of will Giorno arrive in time, can the gang survive in the meantime, how much damage will occur. But mostly, it’s a ticking clock for Pucchi.
